August 02, 2017. Placerville, CA. - Matisyahu, along with Nahko and Medicine For The People are set to headline the third-annual Dry Diggings Festival, being held Saturday and Sunday, September 02-03, in Placerville, California, at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. 

The two-day, twenty-five band and four-DJ music, camping and lifestyle festival will also feature performances by Don Carlos, The Expendables, Barrington Levy, Dilated Peoples, Common Kings, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Sammy J, Orgone, Tomorrows Bad Seeds. Dry Diggings will house an interactive vendor village, onsite camping and a pre-party skateboarding competition being held on September 01 at the fairgrounds on-site park, with day-of sign-ups at 10am and competition beginning at 1pm. The competition will have notable skateboarder judges. 

Additionally, an on-site 215 zone is available to medical card holders, with craft brew tasting provided daily by Altmont Beer Works and Sierra Nevada. Mimosa mornings will kick into action from 9-11am each day, with cornhole and ping-pong backyard style tournaments happening throughout the day and happy hour taking place from 1:30-3pm. Live music begins at noon. Ticket prices range from $65 for day passes, to $115 for weekend passes, with VIP and camping options. 2015

Festivals are not regulated to the summer. Later this month, Cali Roots presents Dry Diggings, a reggae festival with All-Star lineup just outside of California's capital, Sacramento. 

The El Dorado County Fairgrounds calls Placerville, CA home and welcomes Roots, Rock, and Reggae with open arms.
