Ipothetically Speaking, Martei Korley’s full length project is a jarring call to action for the environment. It channels the uncertainty and lack of climate action with blunt facts while offering solutions to our common troubles. It is meant to serve as a wake up call to a nation distracted by personal avatars and advertising. Musically it spans a wide range of Reggae’s sub genres: Roots, Dub, Dancehall and Afrobeats. As such, producer Yo Akim paints a more nuanced picture of Martei Korley as an artist.
