One of Jamaica's most prominent female reggae artists, Lila Iké, teams up with Brooklyn hip-hop superstar Joey Bada$$ for their new single 'Fry Plantain'. The chilled out vibey track blends reggae, r&b, and hip-hop influences. The song is produced by D.K. the Punisher (Justin Bieber, Jill Scott, SiR, Anderson .Paak) and Protoje, and is released on Ineffable Records in conjunction with Protoje's In.Digg.Nation Collective and Lila Iké's Wurl Iké Records. Lila Iké has been nominated for Best Reggae Act at the British MOBO Awards and landed performances on NPR Tiny Desk and A Late Show with Stephen Colbert with Protoje. She has garnered praise from BBC, Rolling Stone, SPIN, Vogue, and The New York Times.
