Reggae on the River 2025 Headliners Announced

FRIDAY: Alborosie — The Italian Don of Reggae

The weekend kicks off in a big way with Alborosie, the groundbreaking Italian-born artist who has become a cornerstone of modern roots reggae. His journey began in 1992 when he fronted Reggae National Tickets, the first Italian reggae band to ever perform at Jamaica’s legendary Sumfest and Reggae Sunsplash. Alborosie made Jamaica his home in 2000 and hasn’t looked back since — producing hit after hit, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the genre, and earning a global fanbase. From heavy dub vibes to cultural roots anthems, Alborosie is sure to set the tone for a powerful weekend.

SATURDAY: Mr. Vegas – The Dancehall Hit Machine

It wouldn’t be a real reggae weekend without a serious dancehall takeover — and Mr. Vegas is bringing it. Known for his global smashes like “Hot Gal Today,” “Bruk It Down,” “Man a Gallis,” and “I Am Blessed,” Mr. Vegas has been a fixture in dancehall culture for decades. He's worked alongside superstars like Beyoncé, Major Lazer, and Shaggy, and his new 2025 single “Alive” proves he’s still pushing the sound forward.
